This group project involved designing and implementing a simulated grocery store checkout system. The development process followed a structured approach starting with UML diagrams and domain modeling using Astah. These models laid the foundation for the final implementation: a Java based application simulating the functionality of a real world checkout system. The project emphasized object oriented design, architectural planning, and best practices in software development such as modularity, testing, and maintainability.
